In large cities of the Stavropol Territory, they can begin to build high-rise schools, TASS reports with reference to the Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Territory Alexei Kogarlytsky.

“As for the construction of five-storey schools, it is possible that the region will design them for construction in Stavropol and in the cities of Kavminvod on areas with a high building density. This will help solve the problem of lack of space in large cities of the Stavropol Territory, ”said Kogarlytsky.

He clarified that the five-story projects will not be distributed throughout the region.

“In small towns and villages of the region, even taking into account the possibility of combining a school and a kindergarten, such tall buildings are not needed, and their construction there is not economically justified,” added Kogarlytsky.

At the end of September, the head of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Yakushev, said that the ministry had relaxed the requirements for the number of storeys in schools. According to him, work on the modernization of normative and technical documents and sets of rules is being carried out within the framework of the Housing and Urban Environment national project. In particular, it is possible to design five-story schools. Currently, institutions are being built no more than four stories high.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, projects of hospitals, kindergartens, schools, roads and housing will be able to receive priority status, reports TASS with reference to the governor of the region, Sergei Furgal.

“I have made a decision. If for some reason we previously gave priority projects only to big business, today there is an order that priority projects should be hospitals, schools, kindergartens, housing, including housing for social strata and for young people. We will also prioritize the reconstruction, construction and repair of roads. And today we are already making such plans, ”Furgal said.

According to him, a huge number of such projects have accumulated at present. If approved by the investment commission, they will be able to count on receiving benefits, in particular on preferential connection to the networks.

The head of the region added that earlier representatives of small and medium-sized businesses could not even get to the appropriate commission. Major projects related to the extraction of gold, coal, round timber, as well as the construction of shopping centers became priorities.

“This does not mean that now they will not have the green light, but we will approach more carefully. Small and medium-sized businesses should know that they can safely submit documents and, if they match, they are guaranteed to receive priority. There will be no more such a one-sided approach to priorities, ”Furgal said.
